Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the 7th game in the main series and the last one to be released on PlayStation 2 and Xbox and the first one to be released on Nintendo Wii. It included all existing characters from the previous games, except the minor characters who were part of the story, but never appeared as a playable character. Motaro, Chameleon and Khameleon weren't originally going to make the roster. Midway decided to add in Motaro (although, they had to get rid of his hind legs, due to graphical problems) and Chameleon on the PS2 and Xbox versions before the game was complete. They forgot to add in Khameleon, so they later added her on the Wii version. It is the last Mortal Kombat game to feature multiple fighting styles per character, which has been seen since Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and the only Mortal Kombat game to feature Kreate-A-Fatality.
