Originally from Outwolrd, Bo Rai Cho never took part in the Mortal Kombat tournament until Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. This was because if he would have entered the tournament, he would have had to represent Outworld, and its terrifying lord, Shao Kahn. He is a very skilled and honourable warrior, despite his weight and age, and instead of participating in the tournament itself, he trains the combatants from Earthrealm to fight.
